    David Bedford 1937-2011

    Composer, arranger and musician David Bedford passed away on 1 October 2011.
    From a musical family, David Bedford began composing at the age of seven.  He studied at the Royal Academy of Music and in Italy. His grandmother Liza Lehmann was the first writer member of PRS.

    Singer, songwriter, musician, poet and author Gil Scott-Heron died aged 62 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York. Scott-Heron had become ill following a recent trip to Europe.
