Home-Grown Heat, a new artist development scheme for musicians in Bristol making underground music, is now open for applications.
Organised by Multi-track, in collaboration with Bristol Plays, Urban Development and funded by Arts Council England, the scheme is on the look-out for three acts on the rise – solo artists, duos or groups – who will benefit from a bespoke package of mentorship.
According to the organisation, ‘through the support and guidance from industry professionals, acts will be equipped with the required tools to connect with the world of music business and progress their DIY careers’.
The successful applicants will benefit from studio sessions with an executive producer as well as composition and rehearsal sessions with an artist mentor.
They will also receive PR sessions with a marketing agency to create their brand identity, music videos and an electronic press kit.
Interested artists need to make submissions ahead of the 1 June closing date for applications.
Shortlisting will then take place with applicants contacted with decisions by 5 June.
Visit the Multi-Track website to submit your applications.
