Big Life Management and the MMF are now taking applications for the Jazz Summers Future Genius Award, a new internship to help aspiring music industry professionals take the next step in their careers.
The paid internship in memory of Big Life boss and ex-MMF Chairman Jazz Summers will be awarded to a candidate who has just started being or has aspirations to be a music manager.
The winning applicant will spend three months each with Big Life and the MMF from June to November this year being educated in all aspects of modern management.
Tim Parry, Big Life managing director, said: ‘Jazz always made time to educate young managers and we are delighted to work with the MMF to give a leg up to a future genius.’
Annabella Coldrick, MMF chief executive, added: ‘It’s very important for us to educate and nurture young management talent, so we are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity. We are looking forward to having a future genius in our midst.’
Applications will be accepted from now until close of business on 3 March 2017 with the winner selected by the end of March.
