Enjoy a free music lesson on Learn to Play Day
The Institute is marking National Learn to Play Day on 16 March by offering free music lessons for the guitar, drums, bass and vocals.
National Learn to Play Day was set up by Music For All as an initiative aimed at encouraging increasing numbers of people to get involved with music and pick up an instrument.
Music shops across the UK will be opening their doors and offering free music lessons.
The Institute’s tutors will be welcoming music lovers through its doors at 10:00am with faculty members offering taster lessons in learning an instrument. The day will also feature performances by a choir and rhythm workshops.
Participants who are 16 years old and over will be eligible for a 60 percent discount on part-time courses at the Institute throughout 2013.
These courses take place four times a year and run over 10 weeks.
