Amplify Dot
Born in South London, Amplify Dot was never far from music. From the age of four, she would listen to the sounds of Salt n Pepa, Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix.
Amplify Dot’s first stage experience came with an impromptu appearance at Missy Elliot’s sold-out Brixton Academy concert in 2001. Just 14, she climbed on stage when Missy asked if anybody in the audience could rap and blew the crowd away.
As the first and marquee signing to Newbran Entertainment, Amplify Dot has released 2 singles (Born Ready and Semantics) from her debut mixtape Born Ready. It features Kano, Booty Luv, and Gyptian amongst other talented artists and production from the likes of Mr Shae Shae.
A-Dot, as she is commonly known, is working on the next feature ‘Short Back & Sides’, which will showcase evolution and experimentation in both audio and lyrical delivery and highlight the growth on her continuing journey to the top. In between releases, A-Dot has been touring, guest appearing on numerous tracks and is performing at BBC1Xtra Live on the 1st of December. Don’t be the last to know…Amplify Dot is officially amping up the industry!

Jacob Plant
Dubbed by Music Week as the new “Wonderkid”, Jacob Plant has worked with and remixed a whole host of household names, including Jay Z, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding,  Donea’o, and Oh Land to name a few. He began making music when he was 13 and broke though in 2009 when he submitted his first track Basslines In to BBC Introducing Kent where it became Record of the Week and quickly moved up to BBC Radio 1.  He supported 30 Seconds To Mars during the European leg of their world tour and in early 2011 he toured with the E4 TV show Skins, featuring on their homepage and playing alongside Nero, Katy B, Devlin and Yasmin. With forthcoming singles, and a debut artist album on the way, we can expect big things from Jacob Plant.  Jacob will be bringing along Majestic, Baby Blue and Annaca to perform at the showcase.

The Slow Show
The Slow Show are a recently formed Manchester based band who as friends started jamming & song writing in early 2011.  But they have not wasted any time, their debut EP Midnight Waltz was released in May this year on Thirty Nine Records.
They draw on a diverse range of musical inspiration with influences from the likes of Neil Young, Tom Waits and Bob Dylan echoing throughout their music.  Their dynamic, warm and lush melodic songwriting could easily have been born out of Nashville.
The band were chosen by BBC Introducing to support Elbow (BBC In Concert Homecoming gig) in October at Manchester Cathedral playing to over a thousand people.

Go Go Bot
Scottish band GoGoBot burst onto the music scene in 2011 with a strident mix of synth anthems and infectious pop melodies. The band’s unique sound is fuelled by their own eclectic tastes, purpose, dark humour and intimacy, cleverly disguised with quirky pop hooks.
Throughout 2011 they released the See Saw Series (6 single releases) and  enjoyed widespread success with plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2, to name but a few.  They also enjoyed a busy festival season playing at T in the Park, RockNess, Wickerman, Belladrum, Guilfest and Bestival where festival curator  and BBC Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank invited the band to appear not once but twice over the acclaimed weekend.
