Frank Ilfman wins Saturn Award

FrankIIfmanwebFilm composer Frank Ilfman has won a Saturn Award for his score for Big Bad Wolves.

Frank was presented with the prize at a ceremony in Burbank, California. The annual event, which is in its 40th year, was set up by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films to recognise the best films in these genres.

Big winners at this year’s event include Gravity with five Saturn Awards and Marvel’s Iron Man 3 which picked up three gongs.

Frank’s recent work includes scores for Big Bad Wolves and Cupcakes, with scores performed by The London Metropolitan Orchestra at Air Studios.

He has also scored: May I Kill U?, a dark comedy, directed by BAFTA award winner Stuart Urban and Mercenaries, directed by Paris Leonti.
