Peluché – our latest 30 seconds interview – are a genre-bending trio adding a welcome burst of tropicana to London’s nightlife.
Their lush vibe celebrates sounds of all shapes and sizes, bringing in everything from post-punk and melodic pop to dub and exotica.
After playing together for just over 18 months, they’ve settled on their very own humid template and are now preparing to release the debut EP, Utopia Village, tomorrow (Friday 25 November).
Having just supported Pumarosa and played at Rough Trade’s 40th anniversary shows – and with more dates coming up in the new year – expect to hear a lot more from this fast-rising threepiece in 2017.
For now, the girls have kindly given us an exclusive first play of their video to Muchachito, from the new seven-track EP. You can pre-order it on CD and vinyl here.
