The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) has announced that upcoming talents Daisy Phillips and Madison Claridge (pictured) are to receive scholarships to cover their study.
Phillips will receive full funding for her Creative Artistry course via the academy’s Freddie Mercury Scholarship, while Claridge is supported for his Music Production degree through its inaugural Music Gateway scheme.
Phillips was selected for her talent and dedication to music by a panel of judges including Queen’s Roger Taylor and Brian May.
Music Gateway’s Jon Skinner was among the experts who selected Claridge, adding that all shortlisted applicants displayed an extremely high standard this year.
ACM has offered five scholarships to incoming students this year, with a collective worth more than £130,000.
