Want to flex your songwriting skills in dance music? Apply for a place on PRS for Music and Sony/ATV’s writing camp, which takes place in Amsterdam ahead of ADE.
ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) is one of the fastest-growing festivals and music conferences around the world, drawing the cream of the electronic music scene to the city each autumn.
For the third year running, PRS for Music is joining forces with Sony/ATV to host a songwriting camp, bringing together producers, singers, songwriters and topline melody writers across two days.
Taking place on 14 and 15 October, the camp provides an opportunity for writers to meet, work and collaborate with international music-makers to create vocal-driven dance and electronic music.
PRS for Music is offering one place to a songwriter, who will get the chance to work in two studio sessions each with three to four participants.
The studio has midi keyboards, audio interfaces, audio monitoring, mics and headphones. The person selected can bring their own laptop or guitar, and if they wish any existing demos/sketches/ideas.
They will also receive a delegate pass for ADE, air travel from the UK and accommodation arriving on 13 October.
The closing date for applications is 23 August, with the winner notified on 2 September.
