‘I realised you can contribute. PRS needs the voice of the writer, it’s so important,’ says PRS for Music’s deputy chair Simon Darlow.
Simon is deputy chairman for writers at PRS for Music and has sat on the Board for ten years, where he helps to make sure the society is doing the best it can for its members.
He’s a hugely accomplished songwriter and composer, having written extensively for television and worked with artists including Grace Jones, Toyah Wilcox, The Buggles and many more.
We sat down with him to chat about his career, his journey as a PRS member and how he came to sit on the Board.
