The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) has partnered with Music Gateway to offer a new music production scholarship worth up to £27,000.

One successful applicant will have their entire music production degree fully-funded via the scheme, which is valid for ACM Guildford, ACM London and ACM’s newest campus in Birmingham.

The scholarship sees ACM expand its partnership with Music Gateway, which already guarantees access for its entire student body to the Music Gateway networking and careers platform.

Students already holding offers for study at ACM are asked to complete a video application to apply for the award.

Kainne Clements, ACM executive chairman, said: ‘We’re privileged to work with Music Gateway on this enabling opportunity for our audio production students, especially since we believe that our blend of industry education should be accessible to everybody who is committed to a career in music.

‘We’re all very much looking forward to reviewing the Scholarship entries and to awarding the Scholarship to the lucky recipient this September.’

Jon Skinner, Music Gateway chief executive and founder, said: We are very pleased to be joining forces with ACM to bring this Scholarship to life.

‘We absolutely love everything ACM has to offer its students and we cannot wait to provide this opportunity for the right student willing to prove themselves in this very challenging industry. It is with this that we hope to empower the next generation of creatives and kickstart an eager student’s career with such amazing financial support.’

ACM currently offers over £130,000 in scholarships including the Freddie Mercury Scholarship, the BASCA Scholarship, the Skunk Anansie Scholarship, the Keith Lowde Scholarship and now the Music Production Scholarship.
