Are you an emerging artist looking for a new challenge? Apply to Get Loud 2017 for your chance to perform live at one of Caffè Nero’s coffee shops in support of music charity Nordoff Robbins.
The scheme offers artists the chance to reach new audiences and raise awareness of their craft via short 20 to 30 minute performances in the coffee chain’s network of 500 stores across the UK.
The Get Loud initiative is being organised by Nordoff Robbins in conjunction with Caffè Nero to raise awareness of the charity and its important music therapy services, which change the lives of vulnerable and isolated people in the UK.
The acoustic gigs will take place simultaneously across the UK on 13 September at 12pm – all you need to take part is an amp and your voice!
Register your interest at https://www.nordoff-robbins.org.uk/coffee-shop-sessions.
Successful applicants will be able to sell their own merch in-store after their show and will receive a social media toolkit to help them to spread the word about their gig.
They’ll also be entered into Caffè Nero’s Artist of the Month competition, with the winners receiving 15 minutes in-store airplay every day for a month, across all stores.
Get Loud 2017 will also feature 10 big-name artists, although their names and gig locations are currently under wraps.
Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, and supports thousands of people through centres across the UK.
It also works in partnership with a wide range of organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals.
