A new songwriting competition, which is on the hunt for Britain’s best new talent, is offering prizes of up to £50,000 for the winning entrants.
Organisers Salute Music are now welcoming entries from songwriters working across all genres and cultural backgrounds.
Each music-maker can submit up to four tracks for consideration, although previously released material by artists and songwriters signed to record labels and published are not allowed.
However, if you have previously released your own music via social media, SoundCloud or YouTube, you may enter those works.

In July, carefully selected music industry curators will pick their top 100 tracks, which will go to a public vote in August.
The winner will receive £50,000, with five runners-up each receiving £10,000 each.
The competition was endorsed by The Undertones’ Feargal Sharkey when it opened earlier this year.
