Calling all aspiring producers and engineers: fancy winning a day’s music production training with a professional tutor at a studio in London? Read on to find out how to enter…
We’ve teamed up with Community Music (CM) – a youth and community music organisation that provides creative music making opportunities for people of all backgrounds, and has turned out talent over the years including Tom Barnes of production team TMS (Little Mix, Olly Murs, James Arthur), rapper Baby Blue, Steve ‘Chandrasonic’ Savale of Asian Dub Foundation, and beat-boxer Intensi-T.
Thirteen lucky winners will have the chance to record live drums with a professional drummer, experiment with sampling and re-sampling and use drums through EQ and effects.
Entrants need no knowledge on the subject and can be total beginners.
The course will be taught by one of CM’s professional tutors, and each winner will have their own workstation and be able to take home any material made on the day.
You must be over 14 years of age, be available to take part on Friday 18 May 2018 and be able to travel to London at your own expense.
To enter, follow us on Twitter and retweet this tweet or follow us on Instagram and like this post and comment ‘enter me’. Entries close at 12pm on Friday 23 March. Winners will be notified by 30 March. See terms and conditions here.
