Classic FM has announced that High Score – the only series on UK radio dedicated to video game music – will return in November for a second season.

BAFTA Award-winning composer Jessica Curry will be back to present the show, after the first series became the most downloaded programme in the station’s 25-year history.

The new series launches on 4 November and will explore themes including depictions of love, quests and spoken and sung voices within games.

The final episode on 2 December will feature a selection of the best video game music of 2017.

The new run follows news that the station has had a big increase in younger listeners, with 30 percent more under 35s tuning in during the last year.
