Faithless received theirs at the Jazz Cafe, Camden, on 19 September 2012. Sister Bliss told the story behind their dance anthem Insomnia in the latest issue of M magazine and you can watch the full interview with Maxi Jazz and Sister Bliss here.

SupergrassOn 2 October, Supergrass received their Heritage Award at the site of their spiritual home, The Jericho Tavern. Bob Harris introduced the band to a packed audience, and afterwards we quizzed Gaz, Rob, Mick and Danny about their early years and whether the rumours of new material are true. Paul HeatonSixty Seconds: Paul Heaton
The Beautiful South’s Paul Heaton is behind many of the most lovelorn and politically prickly moments in contemporary pop. A Little Time, Song for Whoever and Rotterdam stand out in a career spanning over 30 years, as singer-songwriter in the Beautiful South, post-punk outfit, the Housemartins (featuring Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim on bass) and as an acclaimed solo artist. Read our extended interview.

True North
In the latest issue, we take a look at the North East music scene, from Newcastle in the north, through Gateshead, Sunderland and Middlebrough, down to Hartlepool in the south, and discover a lively independent scene.
