Created just eighteen months ago in her hometown of Bewdley, Worcestershire, SEYD is the ethereal alt-pop of Eleanor Robinson.
Her latest offering Another World is a haunting piece about the loss of a partner, with her otherworldly vocals lending a sweetness to the track’s spectral beats and icy analogue keys.
Together with collaborator and producer De Wilde, SEYD has been stunning listeners with her dark pop, drawing comparisons to the enigmatic electronica of the likes of Banks and Broods.
Mesmerised by her sound, we’ve nabbed the exclusive premiere for the Another World video, described by director Simon Hutchins as ‘a deluge of dreams, visions and vivid memories’ of a young man coming to terms with the loss of his girlfriend.
SEYD says it’s her ‘deepest and most emotive track to date’ and said of the accompanying short: ‘Simon’s video complements Another World perfectly.
‘As well as being visually stimulating and impressive, the video is also extremely touching and powerful.’
