FlorriewebThe pop pedigree of Xenomania is second to none.

Having written hits for the likes of Jessie J, Kylie Minogue, The Saturdays and the Pet Shop Boys, the production team have had something of a hold on the charts for the last ten years.

So as Xenomania’s in-house drummer, Florrie has enjoyed one of the best schoolings in pop and the music biz machinations that surround it. She unveiled a number of EPs – including Introduction and Experiments – in 2011and 2012 but has now returned in 2014 with a renewed focus and new deal with Sony Music.

After 12 plus months locked in the studio writing a debut album, Florrie has recently unveiled the first fruits of her labours in the form of the Sirens EP. Featuring five tracks and numerous videos directed by Studio Moross who have previously worked with the likes of Jessie Ware and Sam Smith, the vital pop music of this multi-instrumentalist’s latest release points to a potentially big year in the making.

The title track in particular is an infectious slice of chart bothering pop – built around an almost Bollywood sounding loop, samples and huge chorus it manages to sound different and like a hit all at the same time. Watch the video below and look out for more music from Florrie throughout 2014…
