AIM Awards to make its debut at the Roundhouse

The AIM Independent Music Awards are now accepting entries for this year’s edition of the ceremony, which will mark 20 years of the Association of Independent Music (AIM).

The event will take place on 3 September at London’s Roundhouse to champion industry-leading creativity, innovation and performance demonstrated by artists, labels and notable figures.

For the first time the awards will be followed by a live headline show from leading independent artists and tickets will be available to the public.

Submissions are open until 14 June to AIM members and non-members after which an expert jury, including music critics, presenters and tastemakers, will consider the entries before a shortlist is announced.

Past editions of the awards have honoured artists, labels and executives like Adele, Bjork, Stormzy, The Prodigy, Ninja Tune, Transgressive and Goldie.

Tickets for the ceremony will be available from 3 June and include a drinks reception, three-course meal, access to the after-party and live performances.
