The Brighton Music Conference (BMC) has revealed the artists and speakers that will appear at this year’s event including, David Morales, Sam Divine, Defected, and PRS for Music.

The electronic music conference will take place 24 – 27 April at the British Airways i360 beachfront centre and i360 Pod observation tower, and across various venues with American DJ and record producer David Morales providing the key note talk.

The BMB also announced Irvine Welsh, Marshall Jefferson, Danny Rampling, Huxley, Friction, Storm, Brandon Block, and Leftwing will appear at the event.

The conference will feature over 180 speakers including, Ultra Music, Glitterbox and Toolroom, Beatport, and Help Musicians UK.

There will be over 60 panels and talks at the sixth edition of the event, and PRS for Music will run two sessions, ‘Developing Your Music Career and Understanding Royalty Streams’, and ‘Getting Paid When DJs Play Your Music.’

Billy Mauseth, BMC founder, says: ‘2019 is BMC’s sixth edition and it felt like the right time to move to a location like the British Airways i360. The tower itself is a great centrepiece, but we’re able to utilise the whole venue, which is incredible, and means we can further develop the conference programme, technology showcases, and networking areas. The event schedule has grown again and we’re attracting worldclass names and brands to come and talk here, as well as the industry pros, students and enthusiasts looking to break into the business. Brighton has really embraced what we do, and it’s an exciting time for us and the city.’
