Dirty Hit signs global deal with Ingrooves

The global music distribution and marketing company Ingrooves have inked a distribution deal with Dirty Hit, the independent record label that launched the careers of artists including The 1975, Wolf Alice and Pale Waves.

The new deal was announced today (Tuesday) and signifies the development of Dirty Hit’s relationship with Ingrooves/Universal Music Group that will boost the label’s international presence.

Over the last decade Dirty Hit have sold millions of records and it repertoire has been recognised at the BRITs, Grammy’s, Ivor Novello’s, Mercury’s, Music Week Awards, AIM and the A&R Awards.

Jamie Oborne, founder and chief executive, Dirty Hit Records, says: ‘We have had a long working relationship with Ingrooves, stretching back nearly a decade. Bob Roback and his team at Ingrooves have built one of the most sophisticated distribution operations in the world and I’m excited about this new era for our two companies.
