The next Women Connect event will gather experts from across the music industry to discuss the impact of mental health on creators and their support networks.
The evening, which takes place on 25 September in London, will feature a panel discussion with guests from Sony Music UK, Help Musicians UK, Music and You, Getahead, British Association of Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), plus the artist Che Lingo.
They will address the stigma surrounding mental health and explore how the creative industries affect existing mental health problems.
Guidance will be offered on the types of organisations out there offering support to musicians, performers and those working within the music industry.
The session will also discuss how creatives can achieve a healthy balance with mind and career, and national radio and TV plugger Jess Kangalee will facilitate an exercise which attendees may choose to take part in.
The night will also feature a spoken word performance by Arcadie Poet.

Women Connect was established to create an all-inclusive space for everyone who identifies as a woman and is involved in the creative industries.
One of its key aims is to empower women and highlight the free opportunities that are available for them in the creative industry.
