Katy B hits number one LP with Little Red

KatyBLittleRedforwebKaty B, the 24 year-old Rinse.FM affiliated singer from south London, has hit number one with her second LP Little Red.

The star’s second album follows the success of her debut Katy B On A Mission which reached number two in the charts when it was released in 2011.

Katy’s latest record features contributions from songwriting duo Guy Chambers and Fraser T Smith and the top five hit Crying For No Reason.

Elsewhere in the album charts, Ellie Goulding’s Halcyon reached number two, and London Grammar climbed to number three with If You Wait.

Meanwhile in the singles charts, Clean Bandit stayed at the top spot for a fourth week after beating competition from Russian/German DJ and producer Zedd and Paramore’s Hayley Williams.
