The event took place at Café de Paris, in London’s Piccadilly and celebrated the best music makers working with music composition, supervision and sound design.
Alexandre Desplat won for his work on The Grand Budapest Hotel while Cristobal Tapia de Veer’s original composition for sci-fi drama Utopia.
Composer Samuel Karl Bohn and Cord won Best Original Composition: Trailers for their work on the trailer for the Theory of Everything.
Dan Neale, Music+Sound Awards co-founder, said: ‘For the fourth year running some fantastic names have been recognised for their work in music and sound design, across all the visual media industries.
