Singer-songwriter Jessie Ware (above) and BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo are judging this year’s Mercury Prize.
They will join previously announced judges Kate Tempest, Jamie Cullum, former Mercury prize winner Jarvis Cocker and BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac.
The final panel will also include a selection of tastemakers and music journalists.
The 12-strong longlist for the coveted Album of the Year prize will be revealed on 4 August.
An online poll will then take place, enabling music fans to select the first of six 2016 finalists from the original 12 albums on the longlist.
The five remaining finalists and overall winner will all be chosen by the Mercury Prize judging panel.
The six shortlisted albums and the winner of the £20,000 prize will be announced on 15 September at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London.
Last year’s winner was Benjamin Clementine for his debut album At Least For Now.
