London community channel Soho Radio is launching its very first classical music programme, with Manners McDade’s global creative manager Harriet Moss presenting.
Starting on 18 October, Soho Classical will explore traditional repertoire from early music, through to 20th century composers and minimalists, as well as showcasing new contemporary classical and ambient composers.
Each show will also highlight an instrument ingrained in the classical music tradition, beginning with the piano.
Alongside her work at the Manners McDade publishing house, Moss is also creative director of contemporary classical label Cognitive Shift Recordings, which is linked to the Manners McDade publishing house.
She has worked with artists, ensembles and labels across the classical genre throughout her career, including Nils Frahm, Max Richter, Ben Frost, the Chamber Music Society of New York’s Lincoln Centre, Sony Classical and Berlin Classics’ Neue Meister.
