Tiggs Da Author, Sigala and Imani Williams will be among the artists performing as part of the fifth anniversary celebrations for Tileyard.
The complex in North London, comprising of Tileyard Studios, Tileyard Music, Tileyard Education and Tileyard Ventures, will marks its birthday with the TY5 event on Thursday 1 December.
The hub in Kings Cross, London includes 75 recording studios, making it the largest concentration of music studios in the world. The likes of Mark Ronson, The Prodigy and Sigala all call it home alongside such companies Echo Location, Sound Advice and Notting Hill Music.
The initiative was set up five years ago by Michael Harwood, Nick Keynes, Paul Kempe and Charlie Arme.
Commenting, Nick Keynes said: ‘Back in 2011 we had a vision to bring creatives together in an environment centred predominantly around music, but also encompassing film, TV, fashion and tech. Five years on, Tileyard is a thriving community of great people doing amazing things and has become one of the most important creative communities in Europe, if not the world. ‘TY5’ is a celebration of not only the last five years, but also of a very exciting future!’
Future projects include the launch of Tileyard North in Wakefield and Tileyard Education’s launch of a validated MA Masters programmes from September 2017.
