PRS for Music are set to welcome the blazing lineup of Easy Life, Snapped Ankles and LibraLibra to the July edition of PRS Presents and are offering free tickets to the event.
Laid back Leicester-based five-piece Easy Life defy genre, touching on jazz, reggae, hip hop, indie and a whole lot more in between.
Formed in 2017 the band have so far released a series of singles and a mixtape, which traverse a baffling number of styles.
These lightly worn touchstones add up to a sound that is uniquely Easy Life, which can be experienced in the flesh as the band hits the road in the UK this year.
London’s mysterious Snapped Ankles have been enjoying a stellar year off the back of the release of their second album Stunning Luxury.
Taking their cue from post punk’s wily DIY ethos and krautrock’s motoric rhythms the band deliver psychedelic, dancefloor ready stompers.
Stylistically, they create a shroud of mystery by shielding their identities with foliage-aping ghillie suits, which all adds up to an essential live experience.
Brighton’s LibraLibra offer a uniquely charged take on pop, conjuring a similar vibe to acts like Tune-Yards and The Knife.
Across a string of singles, the band has crafted their own niche musical world of frantic melodies and frenetic beats.
At the centre of their formidable live presence is the Beth Cannon’s insatiable energy and powerhouse vocal.
PRS Presents takes place on Thursday 25 July at the PRS for Music offices in Kings Cross, London.
We have 10 pairs of tickets to give away, so don’t miss out on the action and apply here. The competition is open now and runs until midnight Thursday 18 July.
