PRS for Music are set to welcome the stellar lineup of Heavy Lungs, Black Midi and King Nun to the April edition of PRS Presents and are offering free tickets to the event.
Formed in 2017, abrasive punks Heavy Lungs look set to share a similar trajectory to fellow Bristolians IDLES.
Following just a handful of shows and a single EP, the four-piece hit the road supporting IDLES then Metz all over the country.
Earlier this year they put out their follow up EP Straight to CD, which is full of insatiable pounders that are sure to turn a few heads when they take their show on the road at the beginning of April.
With minimal online and press presence and one single under their belts, Croydon’s Black Midi have caused quite the buzz with their blistering live shows.
Having sold out Electrowerkz, signed to Rough Trade and released their debut EP Speedway this year, the hardcore, math-rock four-piece have justified the hype and then some.
Scuzzy London-based four-piece King Nun have built a solid live following since forming a couple of years ago, and have furthered that reputation with their debut EP I Have Love, which appeared late last year.
2019 looks like the Wandsworth quartet’s for the taking with a debut LP in the pipeline.
PRS Presents takes place on Thursday 18 April at the PRS for Music offices in Streatham, London.
We have five pairs of tickets to give away, so don’t miss out on the action and apply here.
