Sara Lowes’ music is perky, poppy and very clever. If Sean O’Hagan from The High Llamas ever jammed with Jane Weaver and The Nice they might come close to sounding a bit like her latest EP. But they haven’t, so for now Sara is alone in her kaleidoscopic prog groove. The past 12 months has seen the Mancunian songwriter work with Jens Lakeman, The Earlies and Marina and the Diamonds.
