The quartet are now London based but originally came together in North Yorkshire over a love of Captain Beefheart, Joe Meek and Lou Reed. In their two years together they have released a smattering of singles and won plaudits from the likes of The 405 and The Line of Best Fit.
In September they became the first band to be released on new London label Dancing Coins, set up by a collective including Jim Anderson (The Twilight Sad, 2:54, Cold Specks). Their single The Boredom Rose is out now.
We caught up with them for a chat before their set at the PRS for Music Almost Famous showcase last month. We’ll be posting the interview next week, but in the meantime, watch them perform their song The Boredom Rose below.
