M meets… The Dualers

The Dualers are an eight piece ska band led by Tyber Cranstoun. Tyber started the band with brother Si Cranstoun and after a few years of busking, playing anywhere and everywhere and building a large fanbase, The Dualers had top UK 40 hits with Kiss On The Lips and Truly Madly Deeply.

Following Si’s departure to pursue a solo career, Tyber developed The Dualers as a band project. The Dualers have supported Madness at their large outdoor concerts and played memorable headline gigs at Indigo O2, Fairfield Halls in Croydon and the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

The Dualers headline at the London International Ska Festival on Saturday 5 May. To find out more about them and get a taste of The Dualers sun-drenched style watch M‘s interview with the band’s Tyber Cranstoun and Peter Lee before checking out their unplugged performance of Chinaman Ska. The song is from their forthcoming album on Phoenix City Records, The Dualers – Prince Buster Shakedown which is a tribute to Prince Buster and being launched at the The London International Ska Festival.

Look out for part two of M‘s interview with The Dualers and another fantastic acoustic performance.
