Scottish artist David Luximon-Herbert is Vive La Rose, a gifted troubadour who’s been serenading the airwaves since 2014.
Originally from Edinburgh, he relocated to London a few years back to pursue his acoustic ambitions, and since then he’s pulled in the plaudits both sides of the border.
It’s David’s fulsome melodies and lush instrumentation that’s doing it – think Nick Drake meets Eels, with enough rough edges in there to add some gritty sonic depth.
His new track, Rio Grande, which landed last Friday, is a twinkling paean to the quiet joys of escapist daydreams. We’re stoked to be able to offer you a sneak peek of the video here…
